Energy Art Salon Competition 2009 - Submissions Procedure - CLOSED

We expect visual artworks which are energetic either in composition or in subject matter or both, as outlined in our manifesto, and can be seen in our members’ work. All visual media are accepted, from any country.

To enter the competition, you need to complete the following two steps. The first step is to send us your picture, and your information about it and yourself in email. The second step is to pay the entry fee.

1. Send an email to:

with subject line “Energy Art Salon Competition 2009″ and the following information:

a. Your real name (and your artist alias, if you have one, which will be displayed on the site).
b. If you are entering the primary (over 22) or the junior category (under 22).
c. A digital image (jpg, gif, png only) of your competition entry picture. The size should be 1500 pixels at the larger side. Trim any excess frame. In case of a 3D artwork (sculpture), at most five different view photos can be submitted, each 1500 pixels at the larger side. (Photoshop users: images should be saved at setting 8 High.)
d. The title of your artwork.
e. The medium / softwares / technique you created your artwork in.
f.  A brief description of the concept in at most 500 characters (optional).
g. Your PayPal email address (if you pay with Paypal, not a credit card).
h. A link to both your online portfolio, and to your submitted artwork in your portfolio.

The entry may be an older work of the artist, not exclusively created for this competition. We suggest the submission of a piece not likely known by the jury, if the entrant is acquainted with any jurors (since the jurying process is anonymous).

2. The entry fee is $10 for the junior and $20 for the primary category (USD). Plan B was a limited time offer that closed on Sep. 1.

The entry fee must be paid along with the submission on the same day. You may only enter one picture, and pay only a one-time entry fee.
